Si trova a soli 500 metri a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana Tuanyi Square: un percorso agevole anche con la valigia al seguito. Quando ho varcato l'ingresso dell'hotel poco dopo le 18:00, il personale sorridente alla reception mi ha offerto un tè di benvenuto rinfrescante, che ha immediatamente alleviato gran parte del caldo e della stanchezza del viaggio.

L'insonorizzazione ha superato le aspettative: a finestre chiuse, il rumore del traffico di Yanjiang Road era completamente isolato, permettendomi di concentrarmi con calma sulla revisione delle proposte fino a tarda notte.
    La posizione dell'hotel ha risposto perfettamente alle esigenze del mio viaggio. Con una passeggiata di dieci minuti ho raggiunto il molo Tianzi, noto come il "Molo n. 1 di Guangzhou" e ricco di oltre due secoli di storia; è proprio qui che un tempo sbarcò Lin Zexu. Al tramonto ho passeggiato lungo la riva del fiume e mi sono imbarcato per la crociera notturna delle 19:30 sul Fiume delle Perle.
